For those of you in here who seem? to suffer from Canada's greatest disease when it comes to culture -- ignorance -- I suggest checking out CBC's latest, and excellent attempt at bridging the gap between Aboriginal peoples and the rest of us. It's called "8th Fire". I think it is a 3-part series with the 3rd still to be aired.

I will make my living as in living off the land,as I mentioned? in my previous posts you do not realize what contributions the native gave to Canada.We helped England win two wars with the French and the USA.It is all recorded in the war of 1812 otherwise you would have been french or the USA,if the Natives had not backed up England as in Native ALLIES.The white man does not own Canada we do.When the treaties were sighned there was no war fought in the majority of cases.

How do you help Natives that don't want to work, have a drinking problem, And end up criminals and fathers at a young age? Blame it on the white men-great solution. Hard working natives should? be an example. Why don't the Reserves with a lot of money help the reserves in poverty?
